Angell, a devoted father whose love transformed lives, this remarkable foundation shares our deep commitment to the vital role strong fathers play in families and communities. Their exceptional investment of $775,000 over the next three years is a powerful declaration that fatherhood matters, allowing us to dramatically expand our programmatic reach by 500%. This support empowers us to elevate our infrastructure, inspiring us to reach new heights and create an even greater impact on Chicago's families.
Joseph & Bessie Feinberg Family Foundation
The Feinberg Family has been a valued part of the Dove Family since 2018. They've had our backs for the past five years, and this year they've increased their support with a transformative contribution to our organization. To support our infrastructure development and ongoing growth, in 2023 The Joseph and Bessie Feinberg Foundation committed to a multi-year investment of $300,000 over the course of three years. That’s $100,00 per year each year for the next three years. That’s the kind of investment that will allow us to grow to support more fathers and families more deeply, and strengthen our infrastructure accordingly. We are deeply grateful for this investment and can never thank the Fienbergs enough for their generosity and their belief in our mission. We are so fortunate to have them in our corner working alongside us for better fathers and brighter futures.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL
Since Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois joined forces with us in 2016, they’ve introduced us to new partners, supported our Fatherhood Relief Fund, helped us expand our relief efforts, and invested over $350,000 in our infrastructure. Long-term funding partnerships are critical to the success of any nonprofit and we’re so grateful to have BCBSIL in our corner. Chicago Giving Circle
Two years ago, a group of Chicago families came together to pool their resources for greater impact on our great city. This year, they chose Dovetail as one of two organizations to each receive $300,000 over three years! This kind of major multi-year investment is so important for our long-term organizational growth, and we’re especially excited to partner with funders like CGC whose collective approach reflects our own community values. Thank you to Executive Director Julie Hoffman and all 15 families that make up The Chicago Giving Circle for investing in the front lines of fatherhood!
